Sacramento native Sena Christian left her hometown to scrape together degrees from U.C. Berkeley and University of Oregon, and intern for feminist publications in Washington, D.C. She previously worked for the Sacramento News & Review and her environmental writings have appeared in national magazines. She covers City Hall and education for the Roseville Press Tribune, and is the managing editor of the Granite Bay View. Christian also plays indoor soccer, enjoys working in her garden and has the world's cutest dog!
