Martin and Dawn Scheihing ride with the Auburn Presbyterian Church in the Festival of Lights parade. Cars and floats of all shapes and sizes rolled down High Street in Auburn, brilliantly lit up for the Festival of Lights Parade. The Festival of Lights brought out lots of favorite characters including Frosty the Snowman. Linda Donnelly of Think Auburn First, waves to parade spectators watching the Festival of Lights Parade. The Placer County Sheriff Color Guard kicks off the Festival of Lights Parade. Gary Krezman drives his 1926 touring model T car loaded with friends and family with the rest of the Mother Load Model T Club in the Festival of Lights Parade. Floats brightly decorated and loaded with smiling kids like the iLearn Academy float make their way down High Street passed the judges in hopes to win a trophy. The C Ranch from Auburn, brought out all their animal friends to dazzle the parade spectators. Honey Cowen of C Ranch, rides her horse with her other furry friends during the Festival of Lights Parade in Auburn. The Warren T. Eich Intermediate School marching band keeps a beat while marching in the Festival of Light Parade. Kimberly Henson of the Texas Longhorn Experience and Longhorn Meat Company, with her faithful steed Jazzy, ride down High Street bringing sheers to all as they pass. Audrey Powell and Alexis Bartlett keep bundled up on a chilly night during the Festival of Lights Parade. The Placer County Pageant Queens and Ambassadors rides in a giant sleigh during the Festival of Lights Parade. The Queens and Ambassadors all do charity work throughout the year. The Placer High marching band played Christmas on Parade during the Festival of Lights Parade. The Placer High ASB float was full of spirit and cheer in this years parade. Becky Matthews, sophomore at Placer High, waves the giant Placer spirit flag down High Street leading the way for the ASB float. Jean Whitecotton of Rocklin, celebrates her 89th birthday with her family float during the Festival of Lights Parade. Whitecotton was a graduate of Placer High in 1940. The Auburn Jeep Club entered 250 feet of decked out customized jeeps in the Auburn Festival of Lights Parade on Saturday night. The Festival of Lights Parade in Auburn attracted people from all over who came to see over 100 entries including floats, animals, marching bands and of course the big finish, Santa Clause.
