Joey Monotya Age:30
High school playing experience: Played inside linebacker at Placer.
Coaching experience: Third year as Placer's head coach. Began coaching as a junior varsity assistant at Placer in 1997. In 1999, he was an assistant under coach Dave Humphers at Nevada Union and became the offensive coordinator in 2001. In 2003 he became the coach at Pioneer, a new school in Woodland. He led the Patriots to three league titles before coming to Placer in 2007.
Notable: Montoya is a volunteer leader with Young Life, a Christian organization that holds weekly meetings each Monday night.

Ken Lowe Age: 36
High school playing experience: Played right guard, linebacker and defensive line at Chico.
College playing experience:Played linebacker at Butte Junior College and one year at Linfield College in Oregon.
Coaching experience: 11th year as a Lincoln coach, second year as varsity head coach (He was co -head coach with Don Johnson for the two years prior to that). He coached for one year at Granite Bay prior to coaching at Lincoln.
Notable: Lowe (pronounced lau) teaches physical education at Lincoln.
