Lincoln Theatre Company’s summer youth production of Disney’s “Aladdin Jr.” continues the next two weeks.
Five more performances are at 7:30 p.m. this Friday and Saturday; 2 p.m. this Sunday; 7:15 p.m. Aug. 3 and 2 p.m. Aug. 4.
This new version of the animated classic has been updated to contain material introduced in the Broadway production.
The Lincoln Theatre Company performances, which are again playing to sold-out audiences, are led by Hailey Leroy Smith as Jasmine, Trace Landrum as Aladdin and Jordyn Muma as Genie. The show also features Brandon Gonsalves as the evil Jafar, Claire Campbell as his accomplice Iago and Lexie Frick as Carpet.
The supporting cast of 30 young actors range in age from 8 to 17.
