Tour de Lincoln is this SaturdayBy: Brody Fernandez, Lead Reporter for South Placer
The Tour comes to Lincoln. Well, the 17th annual Tour de Lincoln, that is. It’s this Saturday.
The 100 Kilometer (63-mile) ride is a challenging route, climbing hills on Wise, Ridge, Bald, Forbes and Karchner roads.
Local and returning riders will recognize these hills as adding “character” to the day. For those looking for a bit easier morning, there are routes of 10, 20 and 40 miles.
All rides start at McBean Park.
Your entry fee entitles you to a continental breakfast, well-stocked rest stops and a barbecue at the end.
Proceeds benefit the Lincoln Rotary Club Foundation.
Riders can register through Active.com.
