Lincoln floods Foothill in swim meet

The Lincoln High swim team blew visiting Foothill out of the water Thursday in the pool at McBean Park.

The Fighting Zebras girls team swam by the Mustangs, scoring 130 points to Foothill’s 21. The athletes took first place in three relays and garnered gold in nine individual events.

Lincoln’s Katie Kentera, Anja Altig and Millie Hinson each triumphed in four events. Among their wins was a team effort in the 200-yard medley and freestyle relays.

Girls Relay

200 Medley – Kentera, Altig, Hinson and DeMartille

200 Freestyle – DeMartille, Hinson, Altig and Kentera

400 Freestyle – Chloe Altig, Mattie Ridgway, Ellie Ridgway, Ana Chavez

The boys defeated the Mustangs 102-47. Nolan Johnson and Spencer Westover each scored wins in three events.
