As my five loyal readers will confirm, I think bike riding in Placer County can’t be beat.
Part of the attraction is that we can ride year-round, seldom missing a ride due to weather, if you plan around the winter rain.
Sometimes the weather can be less than perfect but the avid rider will still get out with some preparation, planning and extra care.
When riding in the fog, plan your route to stay away from high-speed roads, remember the asphalt might be wet, therefore slippery, and be sure to remain highly visible.
