If you are a cyclist who rides often, you are always looking for new places to ride, either as a destination to find a donut, a road that has just been repaved or a completely new street or path.
The Johnny Cash Memorial Bike Trail in Folsom has recently opened, and while relatively short, it has been nicely engineered and will eventually include several Johnny-related art installations.
Of course, any bike path makes recreational cycling safer.
Tom Frady is a Lincoln resident and avid cyclist and driver. On alternate weeks, this column features photographs from Placer County (and maybe some neighbors) taken while riding my bike. My hope is that the reader will be inspired to get on a bike and ride. This is a beautiful area and a wonderful place to bicycle.
