When Dorothy Robberson Nowak turns 90 on Sunday, her friends and family will throw a big birthday party and everyone in Lincoln is invited.

Although currently a Roseville resident, Nowak moved to Lincoln in the early 1950s and raised her two children, Bonnie and Tom, in local schools.

“We lived on a ranch here and we’ve been members of the Lincoln United Methodist Church since 1955,” Nowak said.

Nowak’s birthday party will be held at noon Sunday in the United Methodist Church’s social hall at 629 I St. in Lincoln. A free lunch with chicken, salad and birthday cake will be served.

“We’re expecting about 100 people,” Nowak said. “Everyone is welcome and I hope to see old friends.”
