William Jessup University pitcher Brianna Melgard was selected as the California Pacific Conference softball pitcher of the week for the week of March 8.

Melgard, a native of Roseville, gave up one run and five hits as the Warriors swept Southern Oregon University over the weekend.

William Jessup University will continue its California Pacific Conference schedule on Saturday as it takes on Simpson University in Rocklin in a doubleheader.
