Visitor is unhappy that downtown Lincoln took Sunday off

-A +A

I heard your town had some great antique stores so I ventured over last Sunday and, to my amazement, all of your stores were closed!

I always thought Sundays were a great day to go to historic towns like Auburn or Placerville, where normally you can’t find a parking place on the “main street” but Lincoln was all closed up.

There were people walking around town looking in windows like I was for some place to shop but the only thing that was open were the restaurants.

I am assuming they are open for the people after they have attended church because they can’t be open for any visitors because there is no attraction to come to your town on a Sunday.

You might want to pass this on to your Chamber of Commerce and your mayor.

Very disappointed.
