Track team settles for split against Bear River

Stephan Hay’s versatility was on display last week as Lincoln High School’s boys track team posted an 85-45 victory over Bear River. The girls were not as fortunate, losing 99.5 to 30.5 Hay won the pole vault and the 110- and 300-meter hurdles. He also ran a leg for the Zebras in their 1,600 relay victory. Junior Matt Probst had victories in the shot put, discus and long jump. Other multiple winners were freshmen Leo Calderon (800 and triple jump), Kyle Ebert (1,600 and 3,200) and Liam Hao (100 and 200). Matt Palmer won the high jump, and freshman Josh Myers was second. Leading the girls was Makenzie Holland, who won the discus and was second in the shot put and 100 hurdles. Savannah Berkeley won the pole vault.
