Three arrested for attempted murder

Three men have been arrested for attempted murder, following the stabbing and beating of a fourth man at a Roseville convenience store. Ricardo Dearcos, 31, of Lincoln, Robert Anthony Gonzalez, 27, of Lincoln and Jim Phillip Baquera, 31, of Roseville, allegedly ganged up on the man around 2:04 a.m. Oct. 24 at 7-Eleven, 205 Washington Blvd., near Main Street. Two men, a 23-year-old from Rocklin and a 21-year-old from Auburn, reportedly got into a fight with the three men near a bar in downtown Roseville. They ran to 7-Eleven, where the three men followed and stabbed the 23-year-old. He was treated and released at Sutter Roseville Medical Center. The suspects wore gang attire and were also charged with criminal street gang activity, according to police. They were released from Placer County Jail after each posted $25,000 bail Oct. 26 and are scheduled to appear in court Dec. 2. ~ Lien Hoang
