Second annual Kitten Central yard sale fundraiser – Runs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Dougherty Ranch, 5130 Fruitvale Road in Newcastle. This nonprofit group assists nonprofit shelters by assuming the fostering and medical protocol for their rescued kittens.

Second annual “Drive for Babies” – Charity Golf Tournament is at Turkey Creek Golf Club, 1525 Highway 193 Registration at 10 a.m. and tee off at noon.
