Support Lincoln High’s carnival today

-A +A

Thanks for the articles in Thursday’s (Oct. 18) issue! All looked fabulous.

We really appreciate the support! At the (Saturday) Lincoln Boulevard Celebration, the Beauty Vault Salon had a raffle on our behalf and raised $109! They said it was easy to sell the tickets because most people had read about us in The Messenger.

So, your help has been invaluable to us. Hope to see you at the Lincoln High School Halloween Carnival today (Oct. 25) from 4 to 8 p.m. in the quad in front of the theater.

Admission is free. Come hungry because lots of great food will be for sale: Baja Fresh chicken tacos, hot dogs, barbecue, nachos, caramel apples and fall baked goods.

Vintage carnival games, a costume contest and a pumpkin carving contest will have great prizes for all ages.

We’ll be going rain or shine! In the event of rain, we’ll be in the Lincoln High School’s covered hallways. Hope to see you there (at 790 J St.).
