The family of Karla Cruz wishes to thank the following people/organizations: • Chris Eaton with the California Police Youth Charities • Paul Shelgren and the Lincoln Police Department • Ilan Frank of Crime Alert Security Company • Universal Limousine • Sacramento Kings • Maloof Sports and Entertainment • Phil Horn, vice president of tickets and service for the Kings • Ivette Gonzalez, director of community relations for the Kings • Joe’s Crab Shack (who gave the family a 50 percent discount on lunch) • Sports Fever • Ken Marlow. Most of these people and/or companies donated a discount on merchandise and/or services. Ilan picked up the limo costs and Universal Limo discounted the price. The Sacramento Kings donated the lower seven tickets and the items that Karla received at the game. Sports Fever gave us a discount on the items in the backpack that the California Police Youth Charities purchased. Joe’s Crab Shack gave us a 50 percent discount on lunch. Lincoln Police Department provided the police escort and Chief Paul Shelgren made the original request through the California Police Youth Charities. California Police Youth Charities facilitated the whole day and provided extra tickets, the backpack of Kings’ items and lunch. Deborah Gutierrez, Lincoln
