The always popular Tour de Lincoln on Saturday, May 11 will feature four different routes from 10K to 100K rides. There is a ride for everyone depending on your ability and endurance.

Join us for a wonderful spring day of riding the scenic back roads (and front roads) of Lincoln, Loomis and Auburn.

All registration fees include a continental breakfast, route maps, well-stocked rest stops with food, SAG support and a great post-ride barbecue. Easy registration and check-in is at active.com or tourdelincoln.org or call 645-6254. Send in before May 6 for the best price. T shirts will be on sale for the 12th Tour de Lincoln.

Every one of the four rides features great scenery with rolling hills, cattle grazing on the numerous ranches and towering forest land.

The 40K and 100K (metric century) are the most popular. Riders come from all over Northern California and the Reno area to participate. We have been averaging between 750 to 900 riders for the past several years.

There are several rest stops with complementary water, fruit, nuts and snacks.

There will be a registration area for those who are not pre-registered at McBean Park on May 11.

Bring a friend or family member and enjoy a day of riding, eating and talking to folks from near and far. It makes for a wonderful and exciting family outing.

Riders can start anytime after 7:30 a.m.

Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the covered pavilion by the building’s entrance. If you’re a metric century rider, I suggest you start by 8 a.m. so you can get back in time for lunch.

I have ridden in every Tour de Lincoln since its inception and it is a fantastic event.

Hope to see you on May 11.

In the meantime, be careful out there and stay safe on the road.
