The Lincoln varsity boys basketball team’s 13-game win streak is no more, as the visiting Placer Hillmen ended the run Tuesday Night, 66-43.

The loss knocks the Zebras from atop the Pioneer Valley League standings and creates a tie for the No. 1 position.

Placer started fast, capitalizing off early Zebras’ turnovers to assume the lead. Despite Lincoln’s efforts, the Zebras were never to take the lead back and suffered their first loss since early December.

Lincoln will look to get back on track, as Colfax comes into town on Friday, Jan. 25. From there, the Zebras hit the road as the team will play four of their last five games away from the comfort of home.
