Old School Baseball Camp back at Oakmont High

-A +A
Old School Baseball Camp returns to Oakmont High School the first week of August. This free clinic is held annually in memory of Duane Perkins, the brother of Oakmont varsity coach Dean Perkins. Coaches from many of the top local high school programs, and from some as far away as Half Moon Bay will be there to help players improve their skills. Coaches from all of the area’s junior colleges will also be there, as will conditioning coach Dan Bunz and a number of coaches with Major League experience. The camp is held August 3 through 7 from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily at Oakmont High’s varsity baseball field. You must attend the advance registration day at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, July 27 at the Oakmont varsity field to reserve one of the spots in the camp, as signups are limited to the first 120 people, ages 14-18. For more information, contact Rick Ramirez at 782-4073.
