NASCAR home track opens at All American Speedway Saturday

ROSEVILLE _ The official opening of the NASCAR Home Track season is Saturday, March 31, at All American Speedway. Jeff Munro takes over as the speedway manager. Munro is a former driver and crew chief of a team on the NASCAR Southwest Tour. He was previously employed by Penny Racing Supply, the Goodyear supplier for Short Tracks. John “Johny 5” Javidan is the new event coordinator whose strong suit is promoting and logistics. Javidan has coordinated Roseville’s Downtown Tuesday Nights, 4th of July Parade since, Family Fun Night and BerryFest. The speedway’s two-fold goal is to bring fun and excitement back to the track. That will include full competitive races, good shows and food. AAS is also working to mitigate sound that might impact the community. The sound wall has been modified and the opening ceremonies moved up to 5 p.m. The speedway is also making modifications to safely move along the races to shorten the total event and help fans get home earlier.
