Proceeds help provide youth scholarships and fee waiver assistance for qualifying families to participate in parks and recreation activities, such as swimming lessons, youth sports, and playground programs Cost to play in the four-ball scramble is $120 per player, which includes green fees, cart, commemorative golf shirt, giveaway bag, lunch, drinks, on-course games and activities, and Luau awards dinner. What: Hall of Fame Golf Classic/Raiders Tournament When: June 4 Where: Catta Verdera Country Club, Lincoln Cost: $120 per player Register: Call (925) 556-2525 or go online at biletnikoff.net There are just a few foursomes left for the eighth annual Fred Biletnikoff Hall of Fame Golf Classic/Oakland Raiders Tournament on Monday, June 4 at Catta Verdera Country Club in Lincoln. This is the official tournament of the Oakland Raiders organization and many Raiders players will be in attendance. Golf Classic tickets are $1,000 and up. All proceeds from this event benefit the Biletnikoff Foundation, which was established in memory of the murdered daughter of NFL Hall-of Fame Oakland Raider Fred Biletnikoff. A Grid-Iron Greats Autograph Show, open to the public, will be held from 3-4 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, at Ruth's Chris Steak House, Westfield Galleria Mall, 1151 Galleria Blvd., Roseville. Purchase a commemorative football and get it autographed at the autograph show. ?Take A Stand - Be Forever Inspired? sponsored by the Biletnikoff Foundation and open to the public, will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, at the Granite Bay High School Theater. A delegation of athletes from Placer County high schools have been invited with inspirational speeches by NFL legends Fred Biletnikoff and Tim Brown. Raider rookie Miles Burris, who attended Granite Bay High School, will also be in attendance. The golf tournament includes continental breakfast, $5,000 putting contest, $25,000 hole-in-one contest, four $100,000 shootouts, competitions on course, food and cocktails on course, outstanding tee prizes, 19th hole reception, dinner, entertainment, silent auction, Biletnikoff Angels, Raiderettes, and celebrities from across the nation. A number of NFL Hall of Fame inductees will be on hand to include Biletnikoff, Ted Hendricks, Mel Renfro and a host of other celebrities.
