A local man was forced into a car and robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night, but managed to escape; the three suspects in the car were later arrested without incident. The man, a 19-year-old Lincoln resident, told police he was standing on the sidewalk at approximately 11 p.m. near Silverton Circle when three suspects pulled up to him in an older vehicle, forced him into the vehicle at gunpoint, and robbed him. He said that he was able to escape from the vehicle when it stopped for a traffic signal within a few blocks. During an area check for the vehicle, Lincoln Police officers received information that a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle description was at G and Third streets. The three occupants, two 17-year old Lincoln residents, and 18-year-old Roberto Morales, of Rocklin, were taken into custody without incident. The two juveniles were later booked at Placer County Juvenile Hall, and Morales was later booked at Placer County Jail. All three suspects were booked for robbery, kidnapping, conspiracy, possession of stolen property, and false imprisonment. Morales also was booked for possession of a loaded firearm in a vehicle.
