Lincoln High School Booster Club hosts annual fun run

The Lincoln High School Booster Club will host the 5th annual Labor Day Fun Run at the LHS cross-country course off Twelve Bridges Drive on Monday, Sept. 1. The 5K run and walk is a fundraiser for the school cross-country team. Registration forms for the event can be found at local merchants or may be printed from the Boosters Web site at Registration forms will also be included in the Aug. 21 edition of the Lincoln News Messenger. The registration fee is $20 for all entries received before Aug. 25. On the day of the event the fee will be $25. T-shirts will be available for those who register by Aug. 25. Race day registration and number pick-up will be at Twelve Bridges Elementary School at 2450 Eastridge Drive (at the corner of Twelve Bridges Drive) from 7-7:45 a.m. The run/walk will start at 8 a.m. There will be medals for the first three finishers of the six age divisions for each gender. At the conclusion of the event, runners and walkers will automatically be entered in a drawing for prizes donated by local merchants. The Booster Club is searching for businesses and individuals interested in sponsoring the event. There are four levels of sponsorship available, starting from a donation of $100. All sponsors will have their logo or business name on the event T-shirt, as well as displayed at the event.
