Lincoln High’s varsity boys basketball team won at El Dorado 61-47 on Friday night for its fourth consecutive victory. The Zebras (17-5 overall, 4-3 in the Pioneer Valley League) started the league season 0-3 but they certainly seem to have righted the ship. El Dorado beat Lincoln 74-60 in the league opener but the Zebras jumped on the Cougars right from the beginning of the game this time. Lincoln led 20-12 after the first quarter and controlled the game throughout. Jake Courage (26 points, 15 rebounds, three blocks), Keenan Hale (19 points, 11 rebounds) and Mark Murphy (six points, six assists, nine rebounds, two blocks) led Lincoln. Lincoln will host Whitney at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 6. The Wildcats are 6-1 in the PVL and beat Lincoln 70-57 in the first round of league action.
