Library received hundreds at sale

-A +A

The Friends of the Lincoln Library's book sale on Saturday, April 13 could not have happened without the donations and purchases of everyone; the volunteers before, during and after the sale; and the efforts of the Lincoln Host Lions Club in setting up and closing down the sale.

The sale netted $823, which will go toward programs and books.

Leftover books have been sent to a business in Sacramento, which caters to the homeless, and to Better World Books where books are sold online with a percentage coming back to Friends of the Lincoln Library and the leftover books going to one of their five literature movements throughout the world.

Your book donations keep helping and helping.  Yes, the back room book elves are ready for more donations for the next sale.
