Library donors come through for residents

-A +A
The Friends of the Lincoln Library are very grateful for the support of the community in spirit, through signed petitions and with your dollars. Both libraries will continue to be open to offer free computer use, circulation material, reference material, books and children’s programs; and the staff will continue to assist the people of this community. While hours have been reduced at the Carnegie, it will be open for 11 hours a week. The Twelve Bridges Library will remain open at its current 27 hours a week. Your financial support has saved the children’s program, “Mother Goose on the Loose,” at the Twelve Bridges Library. This program will begin Thursday, July 8 at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and run through June 30, 2011 at no cost to the participants. Friends of the Lincoln Library will continue to support programs at the Carnegie Library and the Twelve Bridges Library, both through our volunteer time and through financial support. Again, the Friends thank you for your support, your donations and your membership. Viola Kuka, treasurer, Friends of the Lincoln Library
