Joel McReynolds, son of Mark and Karen McReynolds, Lincoln, has been awarded a Dordt College Presidential Scholarship at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa, for the 2008-09 academic year. McReynolds will be a 2008 graduate of Lincoln High School and is interested in the field of engineering and/or physics and math. Dordt College Presidential Scholarships are academic awards based on GPA, ACT or SAT scores, extra-curricular involvement and leadership contributions. These scholarships are renewable based on cumulative GPA. Dordt College, Sioux Center, was ranked No. 3 this year on U.S. News and World Report's list of top Midwest Baccalaureate Colleges and has been on their top colleges list since 1993. The student body of about 1,300 students is from more than 30 states, seven Canadian provinces and 10 foreign countries.
