Letter writer overreacted to décor of restaurants

-A +A
It is my opinion that calling a restaurant a slaughterhouse because of its décor is a bit of an overreaction and to predict its demise because one patron found it offensive is nonsense. I do not hunt or own guns, but that does not mean that I cannot walk into an establishment and not be objective to its décor. I respect the right of the patron to their opinion. Historic downtown Lincoln tries to depict the Lincoln of yesteryear, with the quaint shops and small-town atmosphere and I believe that Kim's Country Kitchen does just that. I have visited and will continue to visit this restaurant and support the right of business people to create the motif of their choice. C.V. Ulrich, Lincoln
