The Lincoln High girls soccer team needed only two minutes to find the back of the net for their first goal as Riley Sims maneuvered into position to kick the lead-grabbing score.

By the time the game was over, six different Zebras had contributed a goal in defeating visiting Victory Christian 6-0 Tuesday.

Lincoln goalkeeper Abbie Faingold was a spectator for much of the afternoon. The Vikings first attempt on the junior goalie didn’t come until the 69th minute of the game.

Celina Maldonado contributed to the second and third goals of the game. In the 20th minute, Maldonado scored a put-back goal when Alicia Chavez’ shot on goal hit the goal post.

Ten minutes later, Maldonado nabbed an assist on a Melissa Arthurs’ goal.

Alyssa Gallagher, Taylor Esparza, and Alexandria Kent each scored a goal to seal the rout.

The Zebras improved their record to 2-1-3 on the season.
