Lincoln High had the week off in preparation for its homecoming and Pioneer Valley League opener against the Foothill Mustangs. Foothill has been averaging more than 400 yards of offense per game, three-quarters of it on the ground. Although they only have three touchdowns passing, they have thrown no interceptions. Their leading rushers are No. 11, Dillon Paris (8.25 yards per carry) and No. 4, David Sanders (7.53 yards per carry). Lincoln has averaged more than 360 yards of offense, but only about 10 percent of it comes through the air. The Zebras’ leading rusher is No. 26, Isaac Allen (9.93 yards per carry); however, No. 4/3 Jon Soto has averaged 10.86 yards on half as many carries as Allen. It should be a great game, come on out and support your Fighting Zebras.
