Fundraisers approaching for Lincoln libraries Friends of the Lincoln Library is organizing fundraisers to keep current services and to help the libraries stay open, according to Fran Neves. Neves is the Friends’ membership chairwoman and newsletter editor. One fundraiser will be from 5 to 9 p.m. May 3 at Round Table Pizza in the Lincoln Hills Shopping Center. Round Table will donate 20 percent of all sales to the Mother Goose on the Loose program. Another event is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 14 at the BBVA Compass Bank at Sterling Point and East Joiner Parkway. Mother Goose will be there from 10 to 11 a.m. Bring your cameras. There will be a bake sale and donation bins to benefit Mother Goose on the Loose. You may also drop off book donations. The next big book sale will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 18 at the Twelve Bridges Library. Look for daily book sales at Twelve Bridges Library the days it is open.
