Free vaccines available

Placer County Community Health, in collaboration with the California Department of Public Health and school districts in Placer County, is offering five, no-cost vaccination clinics for county residents. The clinics, which will offer influenza and pertussis (whopping cough) vaccines, are scheduled at school sites located throughout the county. Clinics will be from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Glen Edwards Middle School, 204 L St., Lincoln; from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Springview Middle School, 5040 5th St., Rocklin; and 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, at Buljan Middle School, 100 Hallisey Drive, Roseville.
