Eagle Scout’s toy drive for Shriner’s surpasses goal

-A +A
I would like to thank the paper for featuring me in an article and spreading the word of my Eagle Scout Project, which was a toy drive for Shriner’s Hospitals for Children. I would also like to thank Brickhouse Coffee, Starbucks and Raley’s for their generous contributions to my project. And without the help of Troop 45 and my family, my project would’ve never been possible. But most of all, I would like to thank everybody who donated to make my project successful, because without their generous donations, I would’ve never met and surpassed my goal of 200 toys. I ended up with a grand total of 208 toys and $180 in cash donations. With these toys donated to Shriner’s Hospital, I’m sure all the sick patients are thankful for all the wonderful toys they have received. Thank you all. Brennon Hanson, Boy Scout Troop 45, Lincoln
