The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is reminding customers that the Auburn field office, located at 11722 Enterprise Drive, will re-open to the public at 8 a.m., Monday, January 14, 2013. The Auburn office has been closed since November 29, 2012 for renovations.
When the office reopens to the public customers will notice a larger lobby space, new furniture, paint and flooring.
The office, which opened in 1989, is one of several facilities slated for maintenance, repair or renovation projects. DMV usually schedules about a dozen closures each year for varying lengths of time to make much needed infrastructure improvements or for equipment installation.
