District 3 Rodeo this weekend to close out fall season

California High School Rodeo Association District 3 will hold its third and final rodeo of 2012 this weekend. The action picks up again in January and will run through April.

The Thundering 3 promises to but on a good show before the holiday season begins. The weekend’s outing will also include a Thanksgiving potluck for the participants and a free goat tying clinic for the juniors.

District 3 Queen Tay Creeks has also organized a can-food drive to help kindle the gift of giving.

The current District 3 leaders are as follows:

SENIOR GIRLS

Goat Tying – Macey Cox 56, Katie Rice 48, Cheyanne Carpenter 39.

Cutting – Carpenter 56.5, Hannah Briggs 47, Madison Horton 43.5.

Breakaway Roping – Coral Alberi 39, Rice 36, Annie Rose Seifert 34.

Pole Bending – Carpenter 37, Horton 35, Carlie Bisbie 29.

Barrel Racing – Cierra McClure 44, Seifert 39, Alberi 37.

SENIOR BOYS

Bull Riding – Clayton Brum 50, Robert Braiser 37, Colby Demo 17.

Bareback Bronc – Clayton Biglow 20.
