Cross street at own risk

-A +A

I thought I’d throw my 2 cents in about the stop signs, or as I like to call them, the “kind of slow down but only if you’re not in a hurry” signs.

There are a lot of them; it’s a pain in the ‘you know what’ but do you know what? Nobody pays attention to them anyway.

So if you take them out, people will speed like there’s no tomorrow.

I’m trying my best to be positive on the whole thing and I am grateful that they at least slow folks down.

But, and I’m talking a big but, you’re taking your life in your own hands if you think about crossing the street and assume a car will see you and stop at a stop sign!

I pretty much make eye contact, get the driver to step out of their car, invite them over for a barbecue and play a round of golf with them before I finally walk in front of their car!
