The Lincoln Hills Coyote 70s, a senior softball traveling team, ventured to Pleasanton over the past weekend for their first tournament of 2010. Competing against only one other 70s team, two 65s teams, and one 60s team, the Coyotes came away with a 1-4 record. Lincoln’s only win was against the other 70s team, a squad from Sacramento. John Wible (.786 batting average, seven RBI) led the Lincoln offense while Jim Sandin was Lincoln’s pitcher during the victory. Lincoln will host its first Coyote Round Robin tournament at Del Webb Field on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.
