Clark gets bar award

We wish to congratulate Marilyn Clark, who received the Placer County Bar Association Pro-Bono Volunteer Attorney of the Year award during its annual dinner on Jan. 24. 

Placer County Superior Court Judge Mark Curry presented Ms. Clark with this prestigious award. 

For the past two-and-one-half years, Marilyn Clark has volunteered her time to the court every Thursday and Friday to help petitioners, such as grandparents, obtain guardianship of minor children whose parents had their rights terminated. 

Members of the Placer County Bar Association are attorneys who provide legal services throughout Placer County.  Membership consists of both private practitioners and public agency attorneys who are committed to providing the finest quality legal services to the residents in our county. 

Ms. Clark is a resident of Lincoln and is an associate of Adams & Hayes Law in downtown Lincoln where she focuses on conservatorships and estate planning. 

Ms. Clark graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in social welfare. She has a master’s in public administration from Golden Gate University and earned her juris doctor from Monterey College of Law. 

The community of Lincoln is fortunate to have residents like Marilyn Clark, who are willing to share their time, experience and expertise for the public good!
