Lighthouse Counseling and Family Resource Center is one of four recipients from Saturday’s ninth annual Santa Claus Toy Run. Thunder Valley Casino Resort and Renegade Classics Outlet co-sponsored the event in which approximately 1,100 motorcyclists donated holiday toys for children in need. Other recipients toys were collected for Saturday are Roseville Salvation Army, Mustard Seed School and RISE, Inc. The event kicked off with breakfast and registration at Renegade Classics in Sacramento. Bikers then rode to Thunder Valley Casino Resort. “The Santa Claus Toy Run supports a great cause and Thunder Valley is proud to be a continuing sponsor of the event,” said C.J. Graham, Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s general manager. To participate, bikers bought new, unwrapped toys and $20 tickets, which included entry to a party at the casino. “The Santa Claus Toy Run is the highlight of my year,” said Troy Rowsey, owner of Renegade Classics. “It’s very humbling to know that over the last eight years, the Santa Claus Toy Run has provided toys to thousands of children in the Sacramento region.” ~ Staff report
