A public budget workshop to discuss potential reductions to this year’s General Fund budget will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesday. “Council’s desire for Wednesday’s budget workshop is that it be an interactive exchange of ideas with the public,” Mayor Paul Joiner said Friday. “I strongly encourage any citizen of Lincoln that wants to have input into budget discussions and decisions to attend.” According to the city’s agenda, “City Council and staff will participate in a decision and answer questions regarding potential adjustments to current and future General Fund expenditures.” The workshop will be held at the McBean Park Pavilion located at 65 McBean Park Drive.
