Lincoln Crossing Elementary has the Accelerated Reader Program for all grades, which is geared toward reading and comprehension.

Each student has a goal set at the beginning of each trimester he or she must reach by the end of that trimester.

Many students reach their goals and, this year, the Lincoln Rotary Club donated a new bike to one lucky child. Ashton Gage had his name put into a barrel with many other students who also reached their goals in hopes of winning that bike.

On Nov. 21, an awards ceremony was held at the school and Ashton Gage was pleasantly surprised to find out he won the bike.
