Good turnout for Friday’s blood drive

-A +A

On behalf of the Rotary Club of Lincoln, we want to thank the Lincoln community for your support of the Blood Drive held Friday at the Veteran’s Hall downtown.

At a time when BloodSource was considering canceling drives in Lincoln, we had the highest-ever recorded turnout for Lincoln with a total of 58 potential donors. The BloodSource director of operations was on site and ecstatic with the response of the Lincoln community.

We are grateful to our local merchants, Sun City Lincoln Hills, the service clubs, and individuals who recognized the need and pitched-in.

Our next Community Blood Drive is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 12, from 3 to 7 p.m. so please save that date.

BloodSource and Lincoln Rotary have pledged improvements to avoid long wait times in the future.
