The Rotary Club of Lincoln threw a TD (Terrific Donation) pass to the Lincoln High football team of $500 last week.

On hand to accept the check was Fighting Zebras frosh coach Dave Fear and players Grady Manley, Alex Agdipa and Haydn Cloud.

Fear has taken on a marketing role as well as coaching and has worked with the Lincoln High Booster Club on various fundraisers. With the Zebras moving up to Division II and joining the newly-formed Foothill Valley League, he is helping make that step up a success.

The football program has gone through changes since head coach Chris Bean’s arrival. Bean has not only been a stickler for football excellence, but is also an advocate for raising community awareness and support.

Thanks to individual support and organizations like the Rotary Club, Lincoln High football is definitely on the way up.
