Local students receive diploma from Norwich University

Two Lincoln residents received degrees from Norwich University at the May 10 commencement ceremony.
Jacqueline Elizabeth Derocher of Lincoln received a Bachelor of Arts degree summa cum laude in psychology.
Kyle Hayes Marks of Lincoln received a Bachelor of Science degree summa cum laude in management and accounting.
During the May 10 commencement ceremony, students and their families and friends heard about the challenges facing future leaders from former National Security Agency Director Gen. Keith Alexander, who delivered the commencement address.
A total of 417 graduates took part in the ceremony.
Norwich University was founded in 1819 by Captain Alden Partridge of the U.S. Army and is the oldest private military college in the United States.
Norwich is one of six senior military colleges in this country and
the birthplace of the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC).
