This weekend, runners have the chance to find out as the City of Roseville is kicking off their Fourth of July celebration on Saturday morning with the Run Crime Out of Roseville 5K and 10K, as well as a kids 1-mile fun run.

Run Crime Out of Roseville is one of the primary fundraisers for the Roseville Crimestoppers, an organization that provides funds for anonymous tips to help solve crimes, scholarships for Roseville youth and equipment needed by the Roseville Police Department.

Last year, 153 female competitors and 145 male contestants took part in the races and put their endurance to the test against the Roseville Police Department.

The race, which begins at Royer Park, starts with registration at 6:30 a.m. and the first event starts shortly after 7 a.m. If you are one of the speedy ones who can pass Chief Hahn, you will receive a special souvenir, as well as coveted bragging rights over local law enforcement.

Early packet pick-up will take place on Friday, July 3rd from 3 to 6 PM at Monk’s Cellar at 240 Vernon Dr. in Roseville.
