Isabel Santoro Memorial Scholarship for the Performing Arts deadline is July 15
Lincoln Theatre Company is accepting applications for the inaugural Isabel Santoro Memorial Scholarship for the Performing Arts. The deadline is July 15.
“Isabel was a wonderfully talented and gifted teenager with an incredible voice, who played a major role in the early productions of the Lincoln Theatre Company,” said Peggy Schechter of the theatre company.
The scholarship was created in her memory to honor her and offers $500 to students who have participated in at least one Lincoln Theatre Production, either on stage or back stage, and who are interested in using this scholarship money to improve their performing arts skills.
Applicants should submit a brief personal statement describing the skills they have developed through involvement in the performing arts, how those skills will benefit them in the future and the activity to which the applicant would apply the scholarship award, including the schedule and all associated costs.
Applications are online at lincolntheatrecompany.org. Mail the completed application to Lincoln Theatre Company, scholarship committee, 2351 Walden View Lane, Lincoln, CA 95648.
Only fully completed applications will be considered.
The winner of the "2017 Isabel Santoro Memorial Scholarship for the Performing Arts" will be announced during the production of “The Little Mermaid.”
