Annual wine fest to take over downtown April 23

Lincoln Rotary will again sponsor the annual and popular Lincoln Wine Fest from 1 to 5 p.m. April 23.  The wine-tasting event includes 21 Placer County wineries offering tastings in downtown Lincoln retail locations paired with finger food from Lincoln restaurants.  Live music, craft and specialty vendors, prizes and wine sales will be simultaneously held at Beermann Plaza near F and 5th streets. 

Lincoln Rotary sponsors this event in partnership with the Downtown Lincoln Association and Placer County Vintners Association.

Advance tickets can be purchased online with a credit card for $35 at lincolnwinefest.org.  Tickets April 23 are $40.  Ticket-buyers must be 21 and older. Children can accompany adults and a Designated Driver ticket is available for $15, which includes water and food.

New venues this year include Honey Paperie, Firestar Yoga, Lincoln Gifts and Souvenirs, Country Harvest and Whistle Stop Café.  The Art League of Lincoln will feature an on-site painting demonstration.

Placer County wineries participating are Amour Privé Wines, Bear River Winery,  Bonitata Boutique Wine,  Cante Ao Vinho,  Casque Wines,  Ciotti Cellars,  Cristaldi Vineyards,  Davis Dean Cellars,  Dono Dal Cielo Winery,  Fawnridge Winery,  Lone Buffalo Vineyards, Mt. Vernon Winery, PaZa Vineyards,  Pescatore Vineyards,  Popie Wines,  Rancho Roble, River Rock Ranch,  Rock Hill Winery,  Secret Ravine Vineyards,  Vina Castellano Winery and Wise Villa Winery.
