Lincoln Wine Fest from a Downtown Lincoln Association perspectiveBy: Pam Lopez
The Downtown Lincoln Association (DLA) is a proud sponsor of the Lincoln Wine Fest set for April 29 in the downtown area.
This event has grown over the past six years and brings a huge number of visitors to our downtown shops and restaurants. Wineries from Placer County are located inside the shops and restaurants and give tastings of their award-winning wines to participants. Tasty treats are served as well, donated by our local food suppliers.
Our Downtown Lincoln Association members love this event as it introduces their shops to new visitors from the Greater Sacramento area.
Here is what Don Baker of Awful Annie's has to say about Lincoln Wine Fest, "This event brings in a lot of people that are unfamiliar with downtown Lincoln and we, at Annie's, get a long line of people asking questions about our downtown."
Tom Jones of Sierra Hills Framing said, “The Lincoln Wine Fest is a great event for the community and for the participating businesses. Anytime you can have 500-plus people through your business, it is a positive thing!”
Our Downtown Lincoln Association is always striving to bring more visitors downtown to enjoy our shops and restaurants and become customers. Another way we do that is by working with Lincoln Hills.
This year for the Lincoln Wine Fest, Lincoln Hills has agreed to provide a shuttle bus from Orchard Creek to Beermann Plaza every half hour between 12:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. This is a terrific way for Lincoln Hills’ residents to enjoy the Wine Fest and get a free ride back and forth.
Come join us for the fun of a wine walk through historic downtown Lincoln. Get your tickets at lincolnwinefest.org or at Sierra Hills Framing located at 531 Lincoln Blvd.
