Lincoln Theatre Company’s ‘Oklahoma’ opens Friday

Lincoln Theatre Company’s production of “Oklahoma” at the Lincoln Civic Auditorium opens Friday and runs through March 3.

“Oklahoma” is a classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical on Broadway that opened March 31, 1943 and ran five years for 2,212 performances.

Lincoln Theatre Company’s cast includes adults and youth from the Lincoln area. Cast members include Donovan McNeely, Kelsie Fairchild, Tabitha Jones, Brandon Hunter and Rev. Rob Pesola.

Choreographer is Jeff Teague and background projections were created by John Roebeck from the Art League of Lincoln.

Based on the original Broadway production, Lincoln Theatre Company’s production includes “Surrey With The Fringe On Top,” “People Will Say We’re In Love,” “I Can’t Say No,” “Oh What A Beautiful Morning” and “Oklahoma” songs.

The show runs this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and then again Feb. 23, 24, 25, March 2 and March 3.
