The Western Sierra Collegiate Academy girls volleyball team claimed the Northern Pacific Athletic Conference championship with an 8-0 record and made Round 2 of the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Division as the No. 6 seed. Both were a first for the Wolves’ program.

The NPAC named WSCA setter Brenna Mellish as the league’s MVP. Mellish led the team in assists, serves and digs.

Emily MacIntyre and Paige Carter made first team all-league.

MacIntyre was tops among the Wolves in kills and attacks, as well as blocking. Carter was second in total blocks.

Making the second team were Jerolyn Palacios and Olivia Droen. Sara Gills was given Honorable Mention.

Only Palacios is a senior. All the others are juniors except for Gill, who is a freshman.
